Being patient.

pa·tient
ˈpāSHənt/
adjective
  1. 1.
able to accept or tolerate delays, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious.
"be patient, your time will come"

Hey, based on part of this definition, I am a patient person.  I got this thing covered. I have no trouble waiting.  Waiting and I get along great.  What's the deal then? Ahh, next up is the part about tolerating problems without becoming annoyed or anxious.  Therein lies the rub.  Yeah, I have a problem with that.  A problem with problems, that's rich.  And problems often involve other people. People cause interruptions.  Interruptions annoy me. Therefore, people annoy me.  So maybe my problem is not a lack of patience, but a lack of people skills.  I need a way of working on the feelings of annoyance and anger that arise when people annoy me.

Ecclesiastes 7:9 ESV

Be not quick in your spirit to become angry, for anger lodges in the bosom of fools.

So is it patience I lack or is it more the anger in me that is the problem? I need to think on this.
